Lineatus wrasse

Hello all. I picked up this little beauty today at my LFS on the inkling it may be a female/submale lineatus wrasse. Considering what I payed if it is then I got a steal and a half for this fish. Leme know what you think.

I agree that a better picture will be needed. From the photo I am willing to say that it isn't a lineatus, but a pyle's fairy wrasse from Cebu.

Hate to say it, but looking at pic on computer instead of phone ... hope is fading! Is there a black edge to its tail? Or is that the rock?

I'm starting to also lean towards c. Pylei but someone with more experiences opinion after that last picture would be nice

Since it hasn't been noted yet, be warned that C. pylei's are one of the most aggressive Fairy Wrasse. You may be aware; just wanted to confirm you knew. Some have not had any aggression issues towards other Fairies, others have had theirs terrorize and/or kill smaller fish, including non-wrasses.

She currently seems to be in love with my clowns lol. I have a mated pair of false percs and she is always right next to them. So far no signs of aggression or territorial behaviors. I plan to add melunarus and radiant wrasse which should be slightly larger as she is only approximately 1.5 inches at this time. My LFS gets the melunarus and radiant Wrasses around 3". And I thought $150 seemed like a lot. Turned out it was a c. Pylei but not the cebu variant. The cebu must be more common as I see $40-50 for it

And according to my lfs he can get 2-3" male Lineatus for $135. Definetly will check here before buying one so I don't end up losing out.
