Linking battery backups

Do just hook one cable from backup 1- backup 2 then a cable from back up 1 to my EcoTech? Going down to 1 ecotech but have 2 back-ups.

Just run one cable from the first battery to the second, then one from the second to the pump. It will double your battery run time.

Just to clarify. The jumper cable goes from battery#1 out to battery#2 out?

Instructions with these units seem to be lacking a bit.
