Lion Fish eat rubberbands!

I was working on my fans on the side of my canopy last nite and I noticed a rubberband floating in the tank, I have no idea where it came from, must be from a bag from coral or something...next thing I know my lion fish has the tip of it sticking out of his mouth, so I watch him for a while and he cant spit it out, its pretty much stuck im figuring....took me about 2 minutes to net him and I used some tongs to pull it out gently...anyway I fed him right after I put him in the tank so no damage was done I guess....

My sailfin ate a couple of rubber bands that were in on some corals in my softy tank. I discovered it when I saw a blue circle hanging out from beneath her. I pulled on it and low and behold...a rubber band. She passed another the following day and has been fine. I keep them away from her now. Makes you realize what all the commotion about balloons and sea turtles is about.

Crazy fish...probably thought it was some type of worm. Glad it all worked out for the best. Is he still okay?
