Lions/Stock list

I've decided that I'm going to set-up a Lion-dominated tank with a few noteable mates. Here's the current list that I've worked down to:

- Volitan's Lion
- Russell's Lion
- Fuzzy Dwarf Lion
- Radiata Lion
- Harlequin Tusk
- Marine Betta
- Raccoon Butterfly

I haven't got the actual tank yet, but it will be 100 gallons minimum with plenty of rock work and some macroalgae in the main display for nutrient export and looks, plus a large sump, refugium, etc.

My main question is, will I have a problem keeping the multiple species of Lions together? My biggest concern is having the Volitans grow big enough to actually eat the Fuzzy Dwarf, killing them both. Also, how does the list look overall?

I would look at a tank much larger than 100 gallons. the volitans by itself will need something closer to 200 when it is fully grown, the tuskfish also get large and need swimming room. I dont think you will have a problem with the fish eating each other, but my only concern would be the bio-load. with that list it will be huge and most of those fish require high water quality.
providing the tank is large enough and your filtration is up to the task the list looks good. show us some pics when you get it up and running. maybe throw in a tang for algea control. a purple tang would go great with that list.

bioload is more important than swim room but you do absolutely have to have aquascaping giving caves for everyone, low flow so they can relax, and don't go nuts on lighting....they prefer less.

I agree with FMarini....a 180 would be the minimum I'd recommend for that load. The tusk may **** off some of the tankmates being more active but that is fairly minor....

A big thanks to everyone for their input. It'll be a few months before I'm able to mobilize on this (I'd like to have this one planned to the tee), so any information helps.
