Lisa got Roy's 50 tub this week. It is plumbed and almost ready to go. Here is what we have done so far.

It has a Blueline 30 (590 gph) for the return pump. It is plumbed as a straight return that comes up through the overflow box.
It will have a Blueline 40 (790 gph) for the closed loop. It is plumbed with a 1.5" inlet, and returns over the top. It is split with one side going to a 1/2" Seaswirl, and the other side is a straight outlet with 3/4" locline. We originally hooked up a Gen-X PCX-40 but it is way too much flow for zooanthids.
Skimmer is a ASM G1-X.
Lighting will be 2 X 175 watt MH 20K XM bulbs.

I bet their electric bill is doosey:eek2:

How many dehumidifiers you got in that house?
You're probably putting 15 gallons a day into the air!

tsk,tsk....some people dont handle change very well :p
Whats going in this tank? Im assuming sand once the rock is cured....What else?

Richard beat me to it but here's a few more details... :)

i'm putting the black/white sand mix and tiering the rock from the back left corner about halfway towards the rt. front corner ( no Katrina debris for me :))
there will be a open sandy area in the front right third of the tank.
..then after the rock is cured i'll be transferring the zoos and ricordea from my 29 into it..... along with my shrimp/goby combo, 2 ventralis anthias, limestripe and neon goby and my scooter blenny.... then i'd like to add some kind of passive swimmy fish to coax the anthias out more... :)

and of course more rics and zoos... :)

Here are some of the critters going into the tank from the 29 gallon...I took pictures last night. Thought I would show off a little.

Almost done. Today we painted the wall behind the tank, added sand, and aquascaped. Here are a few updated pics.

There is still some rock from the 29 gallon that has to be transferred along with the fish and corals, but that is the general idea for the aquascape.
