List of Zoas for PC lights ?

Yes, most zoas do fine under PC's. If you have a deeper tank I would put them higher up, but the main key is to keep an eye on them. They will let you know if they want more light by stretching out.

I have power compacts and my zoas are a mix. Some are fine and grow. Others are at the very top of my tank and stretch out as far as I can. All zoanthids seem to have different lighting preferences. I'm going to update to T5's and maybe they'll grow better. I'll post back then.

Okay good :)
what about flow ?

I prefer a good amount of flow. I have seen the best polyp extension under these conditions. As long as they aren't blasted, the more the better.

To comment on Felix's post, I used to use PC's and upgraded to T5's and saw a significant improvement in growth and color. That is not to say you cannot achieve both under PC's, I just find it more difficult as you need to work a little harder to make each piece happy.

Oh, I forgot to mention. In my tank with PC's I'm keeping some Lord of the Ring's zoas and they're fine. They survive, but I wouldn't say they thrive. I also had some Nuclear Green's and they were looking great, but unfortunately I lost them in my tank. Like I mentioned earlier, it can be a toss up when it comes to power compacts, but for the most part, most zoas will do just fine.

Could you give the specs on your lighting? Just wanted to see if theirs any advice I could give to make your zoas look better under CP's. Like Kelvin and such.

Ok, I was going to suggest you change to a more of a 15k look with a 50/50 bulb if you weren't happy with the way your corals look. I did that and I was a lot happier than I was when I had 10k and actinics.

I've got a zoanthid garden. I've got a single 96W dual 10k/actinic PC. Everything is doing fine. Radioactive Dragon Eyes are about 12-15 inches from the light and are expanding great. Other zoas are in various places and doing OK.

Blue Hornets seem to like less light than most, I've got them in the shade of a rock bridge.

Other Zoas I have are Eye of Ra (doubled in number within 2 months), Yellow/greens (brand new) and green goblins (seem happy, but not growing quickly).

I'm having sucess with my Radioactive Dragon Eyes as well along with what seem to be Green Goblins too. Those two would be good under PC's for you Bonta.
