Could someone elaborate on how they are using their litermeter 3 to do water changes. Thanks.

(1) Calibrate all the pumps per the instructions in the manual.

(2) Set up one pump to drain x gallons of SW per day, with a float switch to turn it off if the water drops below a certain level.

(3) Set up another pump to add the same x gallons of SW per day, with a float switch to turn it off if the water exceeds a certain level.

(4) Set up the third pump to top off with RO/DI for the amount of evaporation loss per day, with a float switch to turn it off if the water exceeds a certain level.

Much appreciated gtriever. How is this system working out for you? What are you using for your additional pumps?

Working fine, and I use the LM III remote pump modules (current p/n LM3-RPM) with my own float switch mods.
