Little star fish

I have an outbreak of those stars too! There are hundreds of baby stars that I can see on the tank walls probably thousands I can't see.

The biggest one so far is 1" and it looks like deformed star.

Those things drove me nuts when I was setting up my tank. I caught as many as I could scraping them into a net. They started thining out, and I vigillently caught every single one I found.

My daughter even helped me - Daddy! Starfish!

Took me a couple of weeks go get every single last one of them, but they're finally cleared out. I ocassinally get one here and there, and promply pluck it out.

And to think... I originally thought they were "cute!"

Atleast yours are shaped nicely :) mines are deformed stars! 6-7 uneven legs :(

Must be the shrimp... Hehe

I looked real close and I do notice a major decline in my snail count. I use to have atleast a hundred of the little guys. They must be getting starved out. It seems the stars reproduce faster. I have no algae anywhere except some diatoms on the glass that I clean off but not that much. I just don't want them stealing food from may corals like I'm seeing them do.
