I just got 30lbs of LR, half rubble for my fuge the other half for my soon to be larger Mantis tank. The LR was covered in small crabs, unfortuneatly most didnt survive the trip but 5 did. Since my Mantis has been a very good boy I decided he should get a treat....The first one made it to the sand and scurried into the Mantis' burrow, he came out with a puff of sand. He did escape the attack. The 2nd and 3rd crabs were caught in before they hit the substrate. I guess he had enough for breakfast because the last 2 were able to find hiding spots.
Needless to say I'm impressed the little guy hasn't lost his hunter killer instinct in the past 6 months of eating frozen. So hes a little fatter and I'm 15lbs closed to have all the LR I need for his home. Now if only I could find a tank for him...
