Live Pods

my tank is absolutely overrun with a variety of pods. i know this is a good thing, but my boyfriend and i were thinking about possibly selling live pods to fellow reefers in need of them. since they can be very expensive and sometimes hard to find in an LFS, i was curious to see if people would be interested in the idea. its always good to help out a fellow hobbyist! any replies would be appreciated [emoji4]

Great idea but I think you will find shipping prices not to be in your favor. Overnighting in these temps would be critical for live arrival, 2 day won't cut it.

I think getting with folks in your area would be a good idea, and probably greatly appreciated by those who need to "seed" their tank with pods.

Quite simply you would not be able to supply to volume to make selling pods viable.

well it was mostly intended for people in the area. if i had the money and the supplies to breed them larger scale i would totally do it and ship those little suckers out, but it is a big undertaking. your response is basically what i was planning on doing if i had any interested folks around here.
