Live Rock Curing Confusion

Hey Y'all (l love the south) I have had my 60lbs of live rock I bought from etropicals curing for 7 days today. I just tested the water and the amonia is 0, the nitrite is 0 and the nitrate is between 0 and 5. Is this rock cured? Seems strange that it would happen so fast but it sure seems cured.

You might have been lucky. I'd wait another week or two to be sure, though, personally.

now really... 7 days seems a bit quick considering you got rock mail order. Is it in a new tank?

It's a new tank to me, I moved an established tank, but the rock is in a tank by itself. Just rock, heater, powerhead and filter. I put a protien skimmer in nwith the rock last night and there is still nothing in it...it is making a little foam but not enough to get to the cup.

Well, you might want to get a LFS to run an ammonia test, to make sure your kit is working.
