Live Rock Curing Question

I just recently moved tanks, I have about 150 pounds or so of live rock in a holding bin( curently 36 hours) which was exposed to the cold during the move for about 3 hours. I have water circulaton, air pump, a heater with established saltwater, alot of Cheato(couldnt put it anywhere else) and T-5's over the top of it. The rock smells so im assuming there was alot of die-off although theres alot of life moving around in there( worms, pods etc, etc)

Whats my next step with this? should i do a water change? When is it safe to put in the tank/refugium?

My tank is currently up and running with the rock that was kept to temp during the move and has my fish in it.

Thanks alot,

I'd leave it in the bin for a few weeks and test the water occasionally. It'll have to cycle completely before you can place it into the tank. You can do water changes while it cycles to minimize the die off from elevated ammonia and nitrite levels.
