Live Rock question

I have been curing live rock in the tub for about a week now. I ordered 25lbs of cured live rock from international marine fish. There was some definate die off but my ammonia has dropped from a 8+ppm to .5ppm. looks my nitrates are 0 and so are my nitrites.
Changed the water on sunday, I am just curious if its safe to put it into my tank or should I wait till there is absolutely nothing.

I would realistlly give it 2-3 weeks.. you should see that ammonia go to nothing.

Ditto that. You should see ammonia first then nitrite. when both are at zero you are ready.
