live rock question

i just bought all the live rock outta a guys aqua. that was gettin outta the biz. my quandry is that 2 pieces have a decent amount of zooanthids on it, will these survive a week quaranting with crap lighting or should i risk it to save em? the tank they came from was up 2 yrs and shipped 2 me the usual way(2 days in wet newsprint in plastic bags)

you might be surprised.....zoos are kinda tough animals.

That's right, a lot of zoos can get by less than optimum conditions for a while. Try and do the best you can and hope for the best.

i sure hope so, there is so many of em.plus im kinda a softy for softies i figure ill hold all the rock in quarantine for a week if there isnt any spikes or other problems.

the upgrade is coming as soon as i can deal with the last 70 lbs of lr and get my super slow ro/di unit to make water(itll be feb. b4 i get enuf) sorry bout the pm it was much like the guys head that sent it EMPTY

Hi there I have a booster pump for the RO unit if u are interested in it ???? will virtually double the RO out put.....
