Live rock vs. Dry rock

i would like to aquascape my 75G tank. this will be my first time, so i have a few questions. which rock is better for an aquascape live rock, or dry rock? and whats the difference between the two?
( besides one being dry, i get that part haha)

Dry is cheaper with little chance of unwanted hitchhikers. LR will already have beneficial bacteria on it; quicker to cycle with it.

If your tank has been running already, dry rock will recycle it. Never add too much dry to an established tank, could possibly cause problems or crash it. Live rock is already cycled and can be added to a tank/sump. Please be sure that any LR u purchase is pest free. Coraline algea growing on it is a plus, but not a sure fire way of avoiding pests/bad algea.

I would "cook" any dry rock before adding to a tank. Just google and u can find out how.

I agree with cooking any and ALL dry rock first. I can tell you from experience that I did not and now I am in a battle with Bubble algae and hair algae!! Cook it first!
