live rock

i just renovated my entire basement. I put a fish room and built the tank into a wall. The basement was completed and i started setting up my tank. I now have the live rock in there. Yesterday there was a problem behind one of the walls and we had to take it out. now for the new wall to go in they have to sand in the fish tank room. I already covered the tank very very well. im not worried about that but will the live rock be ok without the lights on from now untill about 2 or 3 oclock tomorrow. basically 24 hours or so. thanks

Yeah,the lights being off won't hurt.Just keep the water flow going and make sure it's sealed pretty good.

Lighting isnt what keeps the rock alive, it is the bacteia housed on and in it. If you have a skimmer make sure it is on, just incase something gets in the tank so it can be skimmed out.

yes the filters and everything are still working and the seal is excellent. thank you very much

will be just fine....corals can handle periods longer than that
