Hi everybody,

I will be making my first LR order from PA next week, and I would like to get some feedback and pics from those who have ordered LR from PA recently. I'm most interested in seeing some Marshall Islands pics since that is most likely the rock I will be purchasing. Thanks everyone.

Hi Nemo,

I just placed an order for 20 lbs of Marshall Island Live Rock, 8 lbs. of rubble & 3 lbs of Tonga Branch for my 24 gallon Nano Cube.

If you pm me your e-mail I'll send you pictures as soon as it comes in (Should be Wendsday at the latest). If anyone else want's pictures just pm me your e-mail addresses. I'll try to post pics in here, I have to find the instructions on how to post pics in these threads again.

Shipping was cheap, $27 ( a $ per pound). I picked UPS Ground since I live within the 1 or 2 day delivery zone.

I can't wait!!!

I got 100 lbs of the Marshall Island rock a year or two back from PA. I lived local at the time so I was lucky enough to pick it out myself. Its really cool stuff with lots of colors of algae in it. Not too many bad hitchhikers that I remember, Just a couple of rock crabs. Lots of pods appeared a month or so out of nowhere. Everybody comments on my rock when they see my tank.

I was really stupid though when I moved from Indy to Tampa. I left them in a tub on my balcony and killed EVERYTHING on the rock while waiting for my new tank to be shipped. The rock was BONE WHITE when I put it in my new tank.

I also like to mix in a little bit of Tonga branch with the Marshall.

I like it... And recently I'm starting to experience a coraline explosion. I bet in another month or two it will be mostly covered..

Hi Jeremy,

I'm going to want to 2day an order of Marshall for Friday(5/25) arrival. Do you know if this order would be delivered in the morning or afternoon. Reason I ask is because I wouldnt want this sitting outside all day. I would prefer if this was delivered Friday afternoon or otherwise I would like to this order for Saturday arrival since I will be home all day. Can you please get back to me on this. I also need to give you my tank dimensions since this will be important in the size and shape or rock that I would like for my tank. Thanks!

Gary

Hi Gary,

2nd Day Air shipments are only guaranteed by the end of business day. So I would say whatever time a ground shipment usually gets to you is about the same time that a 2nd day air package would get there as well.

We can also ship via 2nd day air on a Saturday delivery, for $12.50 more per box, with a noon arrival.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hopefully these come out o.k.

Awesome stuff, it has more purple now than when these pictures were done.

Thanks Jeremy! I should know by the end of today if I will have the LR delivered on either Friday or Sat. All depends on if my boss allows me to take a vacation day this Friday. : ) Anyhow, do you think I should go with all Marshall or mostly Marshall and some Tonga to top it off? What is the difference between the two types or rocks? Life, colors, shape, density? Sorry to ask so many questions, but this is a rather large investment for me. Thanks for your time and assistance. It is greatly appreciated?

Hey Gary,

For what it's worth a friend of mine just bought some Kahelini Ultra Show (or however you spell it) rock from them and it is the most colorful rock I've seen after about a week. He has maybe 10 lbs (2 big rocks) on top of some rock he picked up from someone local. I love the shapes of mine and his color is awesome, I think you could do good things with a mix of the 2.
