Live Rock????

I have some live rock that I'm not going to use for a week or two.
How should I store it. Salt or RO?
Sealed or unsealed?
Dark room or light?
With or without circulation?
Anything else I am forgetting.

Thanks in advance.

Get a rubbermaid tub and fill it with saltwater, no heater and a powerhead, then seal it with the lid. If you can keep it somewhere cool it will do better, but not too cold (I doubt that will be a problem this time of year, lol). I kept some liverock for about 2 months with minimal die off this way.

Don't seal it so that air can't get in, but so that its shaded and you don't have too bad of evaporation.

I wouldn't put anything over it, minimal and natural light is actually good because there are "Live" organisms on the rock that require some light for photosynthesis. I would just use the rubbermaid tub, with really good circulation, and keep it around 75 degrees or so. And Phil if you need some circulation I have a Mag 9.5 that you can borrow if needed as well.
