live rock

Maybe it is?

I had a very bad experience with Mashall Island live rock, I had gotten that and Fiji. I don't care much for the fiji but my blenny and wrasse love it.
When I upgraded awhile back I decided to use deadrock and got a bunch from a buddy who had pulled it 3 years ago cause of aptasia. (sp) It is mostly tonga. I boiled it for a long time and let it dry out, then put it in brine with a strong flow for a week. Then boiled and dried again. I know it was way over the top but like I said, a bad experience. Plus it took a lot to get out all the old dead stuff.
SO basically I like the tonga best for the landscape, Marshall for coral base and fiji for the fish.
