Live Sand free

I just bought a bag of Arag-Alive sand today to seed my sand bed, but i already had a pretty deep bed and it's a small tank so i only used about a 1/4 of the bag. I live in oakdale, and it's free to anyone who wants to pick it up, I dont want it to go to waste.

but I was just wondering what exactly are you seeding your established sand bed with by using Arag-Alive ?
