live sand?

Pass some down lol ... throw in it your other tank

You could treat it as a small aquarium with some water, a heater and a power head.

If you can pass a slow flow over the top of the sand in the bucket from your sump, you could just use it as a remote dsb.

you can put an air stone in the sand to keep it aerated. try to keep it at room temp. hope it helps, just passing down what iv heard
