Has anyone been to Something Fishy lately? I think I am going to make a trip between Christmas and New Years for some fish and frags. How is there livestock right now? The last time I was there it was still in a garage but I heard it is in a larger building now. Do they carry many SPS colonies and frags? Anyone know their hours?

Thanks

hey zack livestock is usually pretty good ask close to that time and i can make a trip over as i live like 3 miles away and if you want you can stop bye here for some frags althought i got mostly softies and lps.

Thanks Brad. I will send you a message after Christmas to see how the livestock looks. TomRep, I know the site but there isn't really an updated livestock list on there.

Thanks guys

I found its best to call right before going and see if they have what you want if its not a common item. Or you can send them an email and they will let you know if its in stock... being that they aren't open during the week you can ask any time via email. I was just there a few weeks ago, and the store was full to the brim. everything looked great. I went down once (1 hour and half for me) assuming they would have what I wanted, and when I got there they didn't and it made for not a nice trip. The last few times I called first or sent email prior and when I left I was very happy and had everything I set out for. Very nice people, though if they are having a X% off anything like fish or dry goods, make sure you remind them at the check out, the week I was there they didn't take off the % for my order that they should have.. but my bad I guess.

pretty much yes to each. livestock very good, dry goods was good except i was looking for Tropic Marin salt and they just had that big sale on salt lol... and there is always people in there.

When you say full to the brim do you mean with livestock and merchandise or with customers?

Do yourself a favor and sign up for their email newsletter too; you will get one a week usually on a Thursday or Friday and they will show you what just came in that week plus any sales or specials.

I am going to Something Fishy tomorrow afternoon. Anyone have the current weekly e-mail that could be copied and pasted on here? I signed up a few weeks ago but never recieved one.

Thanks
