There are few coming and if anyone purchases one, please share some pictures.

So we can have a primary idea of how the collection locale is connected to the color morph as nemmy has once suggested.

It depends where they come from. Most common is tan. If you want to see before you buy, check divers den on live aquaria.

Except the purple one on DD recently was listed as African, IIRC.

ironically when you scuba, ritteri is always found very colorful and more than any anemone else. ive seen purple, magenta, red, blue, rainbow, green...but i've barely seen a colorful carpet anemone.

but when you go to the market, the situation totally turns upside down. you can get blue green or red carpet anemone but find it so hard to get a nice ritteri.

I have always heard the rumors that Africa means red base, but that I got from LA about a month ago is pretty similar to the one reefahholic posted. Maybe a little more blueish with gold tips. The base is kind of hard to describe... its yellow, or maybe brown, or wait theres some green and a tiny bit of red in there... a mixed pigment that comes out mostly brown/yellow. Its doing pretty well, but it came in with an off center messed up mouth and a scar down the side of the base that is clearly from a recent split. It will recover, but I have to say LA really dropped the ball ignoring my emails about it (and other issues relating to the order).
