how does the group buy work as far as free shipping? They will ship to various individuals?

I've never done a group buy, but I understand they only ship to 1 place. I might be interested myself, depending on when and where it's getting shipped to.

Once we get a group together i guess we would just pick someone who is in the middle and does not mind handing out fish and coral all day

Bigger tank to float all the bags would be an added benifit, mines only a 55g

Im also not sure how the $$ would work, an experienced individual could chime in anytime

why don't you guys just order through the reef edge (st.james).there are no shipping charges,you would be supporting a local shop and a huge plus,he quarantines all the livestock,you get healthy fish. how can you go wrong?

I am new around here so i don't know anything about how that works either. Does he order them from the site or a different supplier, can i expect much difference in pricing on items?

also guy's keep in mind that jim "the reefs edge" is working with the paleontological research institute. he is bringing in livestock for their systems and quarantineing everything so they get healthy specimens. if he's doin a good job for them than i think he will do a good job for us as reefers.

I was curious because my LFS will order them for me but i will end up paying 2x the price online so they can make a profit, and pay for shipping... I have been wanting to make it up there to the store to check it out anyway so i will ask him about pricing
