I want to get 2 more pieces maybe 3 of fully cured LR and i need the pieces to be medium sized (6"-10") long. I would like to get them with some nice coraline and interesting shapes (marshall or something similar). I would love to get them from a club member or if not Ill do a LFS (anyone in particular that you guys have seen recently with awesome rock like what im looking for in dade/so. broward??). I need a few lbs of rock rubble for my fuge so if you guys know where i can buy some cured rubble at a good price im all ears.

Oh, also if anyone will be getting rid of or trimming down some cheato anytime soon I could use some in my new fuge.

Lemme know guys and thanks in advance

big als has some good rubble, pretty much cured. 3.49/lb. Sometimes they'll hook you up, last time i went i got some live rubble more than a pound worth like 6-7 pieces, guy just wrote one pound on the paper.
They also got some fiji and tonga rock. like 5/lb and 7/lb respectively. Pieces I had were cured like 95% and grew some coraline on it pretty quickly.

i will have some in a couple weeks, after the frag swap. i have to redo my system and won't need a couple larger pieces of rock. they are fully cured loaded w/ pods and mini brittle stars.

Thanks jessp, I may still need a piece or 2 but in the 2lb range.

I was doing a little recon today and went to a LFS (and hit a noobie jackpot) near kendall and stumbled upon some GORGEOUS LR and 1 piece in partcular that is about 9.5 lbs (only $6/lb)18"x6"x3" and the entire top half (viewing side) is fully encrusted in deep purple w/ some red coraline algae and even though it was bigger than what i wanted i was willing to reaquascape a bit to have it. I have been to 10 stores in the last 2 months and this was by far the best LR piece ive seen and only 6 bucks a lb. Boy am i happy now... when the blue actinics are on the purple looks almost black and the red looks like a neon pink!!! I am truly starting to love this hobby... Oh, I made a boo boo... I had a smaller beautiful piece just like the one i bought (these pieces came from someones established aquarium recently) but smaller and a nice flower type shape and i left it thinking it would be too much but once i re-aquascaped i have 2 perfect spots for it so i asked them to hold it til tomorrow. They better have my rock or theres gonna be trouble :strooper:
