Livesand

Just wondering what kind of livesand everyone is using and where you picked it up at. I was also wondering if anyone has found the southdown at any of the hardware stores? Thanks for your input. I am in the process of starting a larger tank and all information would be helpful such as how deep your sand bed is and do you wish you would have done something different.

Aquarium Designs in patton creek ( and somewhere on 280 now i think ) in Birmingham sells 20 lbs bags of aragorite for $25.

I was converting from CC to LS and in a moment of "ah to heck with it" a went and got 80lbs for my 55.

unfortunately I miscalculated and Im now the proud owner of a MSB (Medicore Sand Bed) of 3.5"
