Livestock and hardware FS

Well, with everything going on, wife, 23 month old daughter at home and another one (baby, not wife) on the way, something has to go. So after careful

consideration, the largest consumer of electricty was chosen. (By my estimate, the aquarium consumes 2/3 off our electricty bill most months.)

So, selling almost everything. Keeping my sump, my great auto topoff Rich built, and little else. The hardware will obviuosly be available after the "software"

is gone.

Please post your interest in the thread, and if you want, PM me as well. That way I can tell who wants what when.

IF.......I am way off base with some of my prices, PM me and let me know. I will adjust if needed. I tried to price everything based on what i paid or have seen

things priced at.

The only thing that I might be interested in trading for is (oddly enough) prospecting equipment. Dredge, hibanker, sluice, Whites MXT detector.

I want to sell local first, so initially no shipping.

So, the initial list:

Skunk Clown ... FREE (Comes with enough frozen food for many months)

Urchin, black body with white spines. He goes with the GSP rocks.

Sea Star. Brown with Black stripes or rings. Approx 9" across ... $10.00
(He hides almost constantly)

Large Banded Coral Shrimp (I think) ... Free
(If we can catch him)

Pruple Rimmed Orange Cap. Very large 10" x 8" x 6" high ... $60.00

4 T6 HO bulbs. ... FREE
These are new. I was given these to test. But work, family and serious parents serious illness precluded testing. Will fit into T5 reflectors using T12 end caps.

2 year old (or so) EuroReef ES5-2 w/gate valve mod ... $125
(No cracks, nothing missing except a few of the "Pins" on the pinwheel are missing due to carbon ingestion)

< 1 year old GenX PCX55 / HP55 pump used 6 months ... $100

Icecap 660 and heat sink. Backup unit, less that 1 month use, no wiring ... $80
(You can test it in my main setup listed next)

TEK 48" T5 Retrofitted with Icecap 660 ... $250
Comes with 4 bulbs (maybe 2 extra) 1 year average. I originally bought the TEK from BuilderGuy and one of the ballasts failed so installed my Icecap. TEK Light

Now, Live Rock

I have a mountain of LR covered with GSP. It measures approx 15"w x 15"h x 10"deep ... $65.00
( Now I now Rich really wants this, but I have to give everyone a chance.)
(These are the LR pieces that come with the urchin)

Other items to follow.

Thanks and have a great one,

Scott

sorry to hear your gettin out of the hobby... you coming back in the near future right? congrats on the new baby. do you know if its a boy or girl? interested in the t6 bulbs. =)

Probably going to wait until we buy a house. After the housing market slides a little further down.

When we do, really want to go with at least a 72" x 30" x 20" high.

I am really bad at estimating the weight of the rock.

I might pull it out over the weekend and weigh it in a 5G bucket with some water.

I will post some photos over the next day or so so you can get some idea of the size or volume of the rock.

Scott

Hey Scott,

I am really sorry to hear that you are temporarily leaving the hobby. However, it sounds like you have good reasons to. Hope to see you back in the hobby sometime soon.

Minh

Minh,

I think the Er ES5-2 is rated for either 75G or maybe 100G. It is a 5" diameter x 20" high ER with the Sedra 3000 (If I rememebr correctly)

-Scott

Scott - go aheah and sell it to Tony. I was asking for a friend - but sounds like you have a commitment with Tony. If Tony doesn't want it, then I will persue it with my friend. :D

Minh

If you can catch him, Ill take the coral banded shrimp :)

Are you willing to sell smaller amounts of the live rock? I would be interested in about 10-15 lbs. Let me know

M

Larsma,

No problem selling smaller amounts or pieces of LR.

Some of them are "mushroom" rocks, and I will want a little more for them.

I will try to get some photos up soon so you can get a better idea of what is available.
