My tank is doing great. Finally all the fish are settling in and acting interesting. This is the current stocking list. Let me know your comments!

Thanks,

PJ

1 x Zebrasoma desjardini (Sailfin Tang)
2 x Amphiprion ocellaris
1 x Black & White Amphiprion ocellaris
1 x Salarias ramosus (Starry Blenny)
1 x Synchiropus picturatus (Green Spot Mandarin)
1 x Sphaeramia nematoptera (Spotted Cardinal)
2 x Chrysiptera cyanea (Blue Damsel Fish)

They are in a 75 g DT with 29 g sump running at 800 GPH. About 200 lbs live rock between the sump and DT.

PJ,

Looks good although that sailfin will get quite large. Like...dinner plate large!

How ravenous is your starry blenny? I love the fish but they seem to eat everything regardless of how full they are.

How is the aggression from those damsels?

Carbon reactor on the way!

I wouldn't worry about a carbon reactor unless you have a ton of sps. Water changes and a sand bed should supply all the calcium you need. Rehome the sailfin. Good luck.

Agree that the desjardini will get waaaay too big for your system. I would remove him.

I would also remove one of the ocellaris. Two of your clownfish will eventually pair off and gang up on the odd man out to drive him out of their territory. Unless two of them have already begun to pair off, I would leave the largest and smallest in the tank (less likelihood of competing for dominance) and find another home for the third clownfish. More than a pair of clowns in one tank is asking for trouble.

I meant I'm setting up a NextReef reactor to employ carbon filtration

If you say 75 gallons and tang in the same sentence people will tell you "that's bad for the fish, its going to stress it, fish cancer blah blah"

I agree with the evaluation and recommendation.
