i stoped by living reef aquariums, very impressive. very decent prices on coral, and everything looked very healthy, he had some beautiful softies and stoneys, very nice stuff. loved the vlamingii

cant remember his name, oops. but he was a real stand up guy. def worth a stop by if you in the area. i think ill be buying a few corals from him later.

I am planning to stop by tomorrow...well, today. Hope to bring home something new (like a green toadstool). :)

Stop teasing me! I've got to pick up the in-laws in the next hour or so, and then I'll get over there! I also highly recommend that if anyone gets over there, check out the Dixie Pig which should be almost directly across the street...they've got awesome NC style BBQ...mmm pulled pork with cole slaw...yummy!

Ok, that does it, a fish store with a BBQ across....were is this place?

His name is Jose and wife is Nancy. This is his cell# 954 5792785 Let him know when you will be there and I am sure he will try to meet you there.

Yup, great place! Jose is a great guy too. I just went by there around 12 to check it out. Left with two nice little pieces for my nano that were definitely reasonable (some more green...zoos and a ricordia). The quality and selection of his corals is good and I saw some fish there that I definitely hadn't seen elsewhere.

He mentioned that he opened the store because his maintenance business had developed such a warehouse of stuff, that he decided he should open a store...great idea! He does have a decent selection of dry goods for a small store also.

And about the location...it's on the east side of Dixie just north of Florinada (which is just north of Prospect) in the same building as The Peace Pipe and The Fox & Hound. I actually went a couple of buildings up to park because there were no spots in front of the store. The Dixie Pig is just south of the store on the west side of Dixie Highway (across the intersection from Dinosaur tires).

Here's a map, just in case...
