Doesn't the club have a par meter in the loan program? If so, how do I go about borrowing it?

I've never tested my lighting and I'm curious if I don't have as much as I think I might just using the Reefbreeder's data. If I don't it may be one contributing factor to my lack of success with anything other than mushrooms and GSP recently.

I seem to be able to even kill off a substantial Fairy Dust paly colony.

The club owns 2 par meters. Use the par meter thread in the HELP area on the .org site.
I believe one is with Brian and maybe you can convince him to pass it on Thursday at PN.
I think it has been a while since the par meters have been calibrated. Keep that in mind when you use it. The club needs to re-calibrate these if we can get them back sometime.

Even when calibrated, they don't read the same between the two. PAR numbers should really just be used to get a "feel" for your tanks overall lighting and to show hot and cold spots. Money spent on re-calibration is a waste in my opinion.
