Lobo on sand or rocks?

I have a red lobo (about 5 heads) in a Nanocube 28g, with a 150w HQI 10k Ushio and a mp10wes. Should this be kept on the sandbed or on the rocks? Either place gets the same amount of light and water flow. I would prefer to keep it on the sand in terms of placement, but currently its lodged on the bottom, on a rock (will get pictures when the lights go on tomorrow).

You can place it anywhere you like, as long as it's secure, and you don't pinch the living tissue between the skeleton and objects around it.

i've had mine on the rocks for two years and no problems. i prefer rocks myself as my fish always would push sand on my lobos then i'd have to go digging down there getting it off, just irritating it more.

been on rocks well over a year:
