Hi all,
I bought two lobophilias two weeks ago, at first all seemed very good. Three days ago one of them just like shrunk up and now today the other one is shrunk too! What shall I do? My water para are all good accept from alk which went down to 7. Now I'm dosing again slowly until I reach 10, I shall maintain it there.

But at 7dkh alk, theyre still supposed to be good. So i didnt think that my alk was the problem. I put them on the send bed, with low flow, does it affect them?

Those look like Trachyphyllia to me, and nice ones at that. They are capable of vast differences in tissue inflation, even on a daily basis, so being occasionally deflated is not necessarily cause for concern. If they stay deflated and you start seeing tissue recession, then worry.

Sand bed is ok for them.

IME, low mag can also make Trachys grumpy.

They're staying deflated. :-( I can see a white tip like its dieng! I'm worried sick as I don't know what seems to be their problem :-(

Ouch, once they have pierced the flesh like that, it is a tough road to recovery. I recently let a friend take my super expensive acanthophyllia due to a pop in its flesh. He has very low flow and low lighting and his large polyp coral does great (hint hint)
