dose anyone have a blue spiny lobster?

question, how big do they grow? are they agressive? what is the minimum tank size for them? any help would be great. thanks!

When first getting started several years back, I picked one up from the LFS.

I didn't know much about them, but later read they get to about 20" in the wild. The one I had was about 4".

He was a peaceful guy, toward the fish at least. He was the only crustacean in the tank.

I fed him sinking krill pellets and he got the left over meaty treats for the fish, plus he scavenged when he wasn't resting.

Panulirus vesicolor usually only grows to about 15". It likes tank temperatures on the cool side but as Ledford points out is undemanding in its care.

what is the smallest lobter i can get that will stay small? is there such thing? thank you both for giving me some good info.

I had this little orange and blue guy but my fish were always disapearing,It was supose to be reef safe but i dont trust lobsters myself.
