I have been in the hobby for a while now and had freshwater for a 5 years and dabbled in saltwater for the past 2 years. I have a 155g bow front tank that is saltwater right now. I know alot of the basics but dont know anyone locally that is into saltwater/reef tanks. I was wondering if there is anyone around me that maybe could really take my reef keeping to the next level. I know people are busy but I would really like to learn first hand how to create an amazing tank. I live near Oconomowoc WI. So basically what im looking for is someone to show me there system and how it works and give me reccemondations. I am in no hurry to get my tank to a full blown reef so time is not a problem.

When I go there (from downtown Milwaukee), I get myself on I43 south to Beloit until I get to exit 27A/Lake Geneva which gets me on to US12-E towards elkhorn. From there, its about 12 miles to the Pell Lake Drive Exit on the right. Go right on Pell Lake Dr for about 1/2 mile (you will pass some municiple facilities on the right) until you see Moss on the left... take a left there and take it south to the very end where it turns right into Wisteria Rd going west. Then take a left on Mulberry going south again until Hawthorne Rd, go right or west for just a bit and you will hit S Lake Shore Dr. Take a left here and follow it around the bottom of Pell Lake (that blank spot at the southern end of Pell Lake where no roads are is a marsh). It turns into Poinsetta Road for a split second (you wont even see a street sign for it really until you are already at Bills). Right at this point where South Lake Shore Drive is one with Poinsetta is where Arbutus is. It splits off and heads southwest from these two. Bill is right on that corner where they all combine. You should be able to see where his place is... a new house, green, with a muddy back yard facing the marsh 'just over yonder' just after you get out of the woods on South Lake Shore Drive after Hawthorne.

Actually, it looks like Yahoo Maps added Arbutus to the map, and if you use yahoo maps, you can put in 'Arbutus Road, Pell Lake, WI' and it will take you right to it. Bill's house is on the southern corner where Arbutus Road and Poinsetta Road meet. The 1195 is wrong though on yahoo maps... it will take you to the other end of the street (too far).
