Ok. I have to admit...I am addicted to Ricordias. Simply, WOW.
Who has some in central Iowa that I can drool all over? Anyone fragging any?
Let me know. I didn't want to do a reef tank but now since I have fallen in love with my exsisting ric and the other shrooms on the rock, I am hooked.(Thanks for the freebies Chris...except the Aptasia but I have a couple of hungry hungry Peppermints on the way to take care of it...)
I have to say, this rock that Chris sold me is great. Feather dusters, Xenia by the ton that is thriving, a group of 4 ricordias, some as yet unidentified shrooms, cinnamon zoas, worms and pods and stuff oh my.
Have to say that things are off to a far better start than they were with the fish and 1 piece of live rock and the new rock has already totally populated the old rock.
I do have to get a pair of actinics and another 18,000k to make my light fixture.
Then it's a few more corals(rics and maybe a hammer or frogspawn and then the fish list that has been compiled...
I have to say, I could sit and watch this tank for hours on end. All kinds of life and new things showing up everyday.
