do you think that a pair of ocellaris would coexist peacefully in a 120gal (48" long) w/ a pair of the onyx? Provided that both have their own anemones on opposite sides of the tank.
Actually, we were working on it before IMAC, but Rod was too busy getting his IMAC displays set up!
The real problem is that Rod thinks he would have to clean his place up in order to have a meeting there! But, most of us wouldn't know what to do if we didn't have to step around four or five oingoing projects just to see the fish and corals!!!
BTW Huey, there's a new house being built next door to Rod!!! It might be the perfect size for you.......... Come take a look!
It's the White Sox, the Bulls, the Bears, Lake Shore Drive, Millennium Park, Shedd Aquarium, Arlington Race Track, CMAS and yes, it's even local to the famous Rods Food!
Here are some pictures sorry i could not get all 4 at the same time it is just to hard there is always one behind the rocks or something. They do share anemones they all sleep in the green carpet anemone at night but then during the day they split up and a few will go to my rbta and a few will stay in the green carpet. It is never the same one, two, three, or all four that always leaves, sometimes one will leave to go to the rbta sometimes all four, and if it is just one or two that leave its always a differtent pair. I dont know if it will work out for you with the black and white clowns with onyx, but make sure you get them young, put them in at the same time, make sure there is a noticeable size differance between each fish this will help them establish social levels quicker, and have two anemones on both sides of the tanks so that way if there is a dispute all the clowns will have some safe spot.
I am proud to announce I just got my first job and i am going to be working for Rod at his store and helping him clean and maintain aquariums. Hope to see you there!!!!!
Sorry everybody I just found out that all four clowns are occelarus. I bought them two off of Jmann And I just assumed they were onyx because they were much darker and looked like an onyx also i thought he said he got them from rods but that must have been something els. Since I am going to be working for Rod I do hope to buy two of his onyx and i will tell you how it works out.
Sorry
