Local source for 2006 12 Gallon Nano cube DX??

Are there any LFS that have the new 12 gallon Nano Cube DX in stock? I live in the NW suburbs, Beyond the Reef in Schaumburg has one but they want $199, which is $40-50 over retail. Exotic Aquatics in Algonquin is sold out till mid April. Any body know of any others I can try?

Thanks, But I would rather pick one up local than have it go through rough shipping. Living Sea is a little far. Any others?

For what it's worth:

These units have to get shipped to a LFS and there is no way of knowing what kind of shipping method was used when it was shipped to them (UPS, Fed EX, Commercial Freight).

When I got mine it came via DHL and was packed like Fort Knox.
Regular vendor packaging and box plus an outter box packed tight with packing peanuts.

Shipping was like $60.00 but that was for the 24 + a stand. It may be a little less for the 12.

I think Beyond the Reef in Schaumburg stocks them. I know they don't sell the 6, but they sell the 12 and the 24. Give 'em a call.

If you think you might be upgrading the lights at some point, might want to just start with an upgraded tank from www.nanocustoms.com. When they shipped my 6g, they filled the tank with styro peanuts, and overboxed the JBJ box inside another strong box filled with styro peanuts. A+ job on shipping.

I was at Coral Paradise in Arlington Hts..happened to see a sign for 12 gal nanos for $129 I think. I don't know if that is the same one your looking for though...
