Local source for highly reflective material

Can anyone recommend a source for reflective material.Building a light hood and would like to cover some of the wood with reflective metal.Saw a nice used system at Salty critters today with a hood built like that and wanted to incorporate some of that into my build for increased light and a thermal barrier.

a good hobby store may have a product called "Bare Metal Foil" its used to replicate chrome on model cars. it is self adhesive. dont know how much you want but a 5 x 11 pc is about 5.50$. stuff is very shiny just like crome and sticks real well. comes in different sheens? so be sure to get the CHROME. there may be other brands too.

Home Depot has stuff that is used for lining skylight openings. Its about 40 bucks a section but you get quite a bit. i used it to make my DIY lumenarc. You will just have to flatten it out.

I was just down at House of Plastics on Prospect Ave near 30th and they have some interesting reflective plastic that might be good for handling salt creep.

Greg from aquatictec dropped me a line they have 24"x72" sheets of polished aluminum in stock.

I have (2) pieces of highly polished aluminum. They measure 24" x 24" and are .030" thk. They have film mask on them. I was going to laser cut lumenarc-like reflectors out of them but, I found a good deal on the reflectors instead. $20.00 each.

If you find any of the old console style kerosene heaters you can use the reflective back from them. It's highly polished stainless and makes superb MH fixture material. I have used them for 2-250 watt MH's on my reef tank!

The company I work for is the sole secondary processor of German Alanod lighting material here in the United States. This is the exact Miro brand material that is distributed to OEM lighting companies in the first place.

There are multiple grades of the reflective finish depending on what you're shootng for. Most already have the protective masking, and some are even embossed. If the pieces you need are small enough it may be obtainable from our scrap. Not knowing this yet will prohibit me from throwing costs around yet.
