Should be careful. They can block any range of IP addresses they wish. The idea that you use a school network indicates that the addresses are probably static, not dynamic. Blocking a static address range is trivial on most webservers. The mods here deal with people all the time, I wouldn't push their buttons.

i think it was kind of a stupid thing to "move" him on. its kinda childish i would say. I mean i understand there are rules and stuff here but from what i saw that mod was looking to do something bad like that anyway. The thread was progressing and different questions were being asked..........reasonable questions at that.......and the mod jumped in and sparked it all up again. To me that is instigating the situation. Plus kevin was getting bashed for asking a question. That guy thought that his **** smelt like roses and he knew everything about RBTA's. He even went as far as to say that he doesnt care about peoples feelings on this site only the well being of animals. Thats all fine but like the mod said this is a family friendly site. To me that means that people should be treated with respect and not railed every time they have a new question. I think the mods needed to look at this situation a little longer and see that kevin was defending himself from some jerk who doesnt care about people's feelings on this site. What if kevin was a 12 year old just getting in to this hobby????? that guy would have not taken anything into consideration and just railed this kid and still would be able to post freely.........

its like he was looking to move someone on anyways and kevin just fit the profile. he clearly sparked it up again after it was passed.
also like i said i dont like how people can have a CLEAR disregard for other peoples feelings on here and still be free to post with not even a slap on the wrist. PRIORITIES are a little messed up here IMO.
