Long Nose Hawk & Wave Box

The fish has been in my tank for about 3 months now, been eating like crazy. Yesterday, I added the Tunzee Wave box and he stops eating. Is he irritated by the wave or is he just sick? He used to swim around, but now he hides and come out just once a while, please help!!!

More than likely, just perplexed by the new current in his "home". Give it a couple of days and monitor his behavior closely. You may need to move towards QT and disease tx if you see any additional signs. Do you have other fish in the tank? Is their behavior similar to the LNHF or different?

Since LNHF like to perch, any chance the wavebox is blowing to hard across his usual perch?

I have about 20 other fishes in my tank, and they are all doing fine, seem like they are loving the current.

hawkfish are very sensitive to their physical environment and are easily upset when it changes. Wait a couple weeks and I think things will be fine

Thank you all for your Prayer. After 6 days of just wondering around, "Checker", my LNHF finally started to go at some of the mysis and once again is swimming around, yeahhhhh

My LNHF just jumped and passed away . Do they like to jump a lot?
