Longest streamers?

Which fish of yours has the longest streamers?

My niger trigger only had streamers about 2 inches long at the most, that mean little sohal I had actually chewed them off.

In just over a month since the sohal has been gone, the streamers have grown back at least half an inch, if not three quarters.

You can see in the picture how the streamers are kind of crooked at the end, that is all new growth.

Anyway, which fish of yours have nice long streamers? And does anyone know how long a niger trigger's streamers will get? I'm thinking mine wont get much longer but if they do, great.

For those of you who remember, my niger also had white bumps on his face that I was concerned were parasitical. Whatever they were, they are gone now, leaving just pits in it's face which have healed to a dull green color. I hope they eventually take on the normal fish coloration again.

My Queen does not really have streamers at all. I have talked to a few people who have suggested that even though they are not sexually dimorphic, it may be a female. The coloring is not as deep yellow - a little more splotchy looking, and not as agressive as some deep yellow Queens that I have seen.

I was wondering about the spots on your Niger's face. I assume that shot was with a flash because of the coloring.

Yep, shot with a flash.

Wow, that queen has some long streamers. Has my niger beat by at least 3 inches.

My Sohal is starting to get big streamers, around 2". My blonde naso is developing nice stremers, about 2". My vlamingii's are getting streamers, only 1/4" s far. My annularis' top streamer is developing, only about a 1/4" as well. For the win, my 10.5" Goldenheart has three top streamers that are 3-4" apiece.

Kinda hard to see in this pic, need to get some new ones.

thechad21, that blonde naso is stunning!

Jason, if you are going to tell us about all your awesome fish with awesome streamers, we need some new pics man. :D

I love the streamers on that goldheart, mine only has one streamer, I wonder at what size it will develop a second and then a third...

I love the nasos with the long streamers. That last one posted in the LARGE aquarium looks like the top streamer is at least 8-10", crazy.

Ripley's aquarium of the smokies - Gatlinburg, TN.

I'm planning on going back to the Chattanooga aquarium pretty soon. They have (IMO) the best aquarium I have ever seen, much better than Atlanta. Chattanooga was where I fell in love with queen triggers a couple years ago. They have several that are at least 30" long and very, very thick. Made mine look very small in comparison. I didn't get any pictures of those at the time. I'll be sure to when we go back.

Is that an African pompano? Have caught a few of those in South Florida, and they are gorgeous as juvies but huge and ugly as adults. I mean HUGE.

Just for you Jason.
Me and my wife just got back from our honeymoon in the Nooga. Of course our main destination was the aquariums.

Hey thanks Swingrrrr. I love that aquarium. How'd you like those triggers? That is an awesome shot of the queen trigger!!!!

Nice shots, I wish we could see the queen's tail a little better.

Any idea why it has the large scratch down the side?
