I have frogspawn, mushrooms, feather dusters, assorted leathers, torch, sun polyp, green star polyp, hammer. The new edition of Coral has a big article in the book about butterflies. And at the end it gives which ones are reef safe. This is one they list as reef safe.

There are two different ones with similar appearance, let's assume you are talking about the more common and sturdier one, Forcipiger Flavissimus. (the other is Forcipiger longirostris) I keep one in my mixed reef, it's a good fish and fairly hardy. First fish in my reef to take dry food. Possibly you can kiss any featherdusters goodbye if they are the little ones, but everything else should be fine. They like to swim the length of the tank almost like a tang does, so it would be nice if you have at least a fairly long tank, like 36".
