i believe there not totally reef safe i believe they are a hit and miss like the coperband buttefly, but i had one didnt bother and of my shrimps , crabs , snails but i had no corals they can reach up to 9 inches in length very hard to getting eatting and are delicate had mine for about 6 months then lost it to ich i used garlic extreme with brine shrimp and it eat like a pig wouldnt touch any flake food they also require non-agressive tankmates or atleast be placed in the tank first
i have one..he was reefsafe for 2 months. THEN, he killed a 6" red scolymia, then a 6" green modern coral, then he nipped at my green bubble. i wont put one in another tank. on the other hand, the CBB that i had was perfect.
