Longnose Hawkfish and Skunk Cleaner Shrimp

Everywhere I read about the Longnose Hawkfish it says they will eat small shrimp.

Does that include Skunk Cleaners?

Anyone have experience with this combo??

I would think the long nose would have to be really big and the shrimp be small before you should have to worry about the hawk making a snack out of your shrimp

The biggest shrimp I have seen my longnose eat is brine shrimp. I too doubt they could eat something that big.

I tried this once, with poor results. The longnose did not eat the shrimp whole, but it picked at it and eventually killed the shrimp. For what it is worth I would not suggest putting the two in the same tank.
