Use a piece of glass or acrylic and place on top of the water you might need some help by one person holding and one taking pics. Or you cant construct a box to do this with the materials stated above.

It's been way too long since I've been to your place. Remind me what lighting you are using over those reefs if you would.

Those are great shots by the way. I really want my stuff to color up like that.

Adam, how long U think ? 5yrs.? The prop tank illuminated by400 w. mogul. The tank at home I used 400 w. DE. All 14K........PEACE

I can't for the life of me take a decent top down photo without it being 80% reflector and 20% blury water!

Make a shallow box out of glass or acrylic...one square sheet and 4 lips around the edges...kind of like a boat...it should float even.

Here is my attempt. Ignore the aglea issues, I upset the tank
a bit when moved in mid-April. This is from my 58g, I am using
2 * 175 (XM 10K) + 2 * 96 PC (03s) BTW --- this is my first attempt
at top downs.
