Look down Shots lets see'em

adamjr, Long time, no see! It's been over 5 years here as well!

Menard, thanks for the frags! They're acclimating in my tank as we speak! I'm really happy that I found the coral that I sold 5 years ago.

Thanks, the corals are doing great, now that I took out my LemonPeel, it was getting nippy. I am really liking the new place, I don't miss the commute from the Northside, but I do miss the convenience of being
able to stop and look at frags on my way home from work. ;)

Funny enough, if I would have taken those pictures 20 mins later they would have looked a lot better, removed about a basketball size (total) amount of algae. A foxface might not be a bad idea, I will just hate to get it out of the tank. I never knew how much algae my purple tang ate until I took him out.

Now if I could get my camera's white balance to work, I could take some sweet shots after the MH's turn off.

Hey Todd, great pics! I see some green tubes coming out of your rocks in a couple of the pictures, what are those? I have some in my cube tank.

Hey Patrick, thanks, I am just happy I didn't fall off the step ladder into the tank while taking those shots ;). I am not sure what they are, but my best guess it that they are some calcium base macro. The bases of them are white and a bit hard. They seem to grow slow enough as to not be an issue. I rip a few of them out once in awhile. I seem to have more of them now. I don't know if that is because I am better about dosing two part or the fact that I removed my purple tang for the tank.

Yeah, I've let mine go just to see what they would do. They seem to do nothing really.
I really like that purple ? in the second to the last pic. Looks kind of like a digitata with no polyps. What is that?

Ahhh, okay. I will trust your ID of it, since I am pretty sure where
I bought it from.

It is a fast grower, and I "fragged" it pretty good during the move.
opps.

Lets see some more ! more, more.:D

I will post some later today. Its a good way of realising " thightening tention " building up in you.:)

What is the light blue acro second from the last and the pink/purple 3 from the bottom?

Menard - Do you turn the halides off when you take these pics? How do you keep from getting a reflection off of the water?

Pat, no photoshop here. My lights combination are, 14K HQI 400w X 4 and 640 watts af actinics.
Most of the corals U mention are at the store. when I cut them they will loosed some of the coloration, til they start to uncrust and grow then the coloration shifts to the original color, plus depends whats the color temp. bulb U have................PEACE
