Look what Brian Greene Just Cuaght!

In regards to where the Dr. Seuss fish went...

I know they're caught by Brian Greene
where they've gone I have not seen
years ago to Asia they went
as that is where higher dollars are spent
this species Americans did admire
too rich it was for us to acquire
we could not, would not in a box
we could not, would not with a fox
we would not buy them here or there
we would not buy them anywhere
we would not buy Greene's eggs and ham
we did not like them, Sam-I-am

For those upset with my lore
to put it short... ASIA PAID MORE!

(Sorry it's Friday afternoon... )

Beautiful pictures Lemon. Now you are pushing me over the edge. LOL

here's a little more help.

abstracted from an article while diving in Kwajalein atoll.

"Male Johnson's wrasse displaying
Johnson's wrasse (Cirrhilabrus johnsoni) was named after a Kwajalein fish enthusiast and photographer
from the 1970s and 1980s named Dave Johnson. He first found the species swimming over Halimeda
patches on the lagoon slope. The male C. johnsoni erects its fins as shown when courting females, which
are the smaller peach-colored fish in the lower part of the frame."

so interesting. now don't you wish to replicate a johnsoni with erected fin, courting females over halimeda?

it's the common name for belonoperca pylei just like we call zebrasoma flavescens a yellow tang :D

I'm picking up my trio of Jonhsoni tomorrow morning

The johnsoni's sure are pretty. It's a toss up between them and the earlei for me. Luckily I don't face that dilemma... well maybe not luckily, more like sadly I guess.

In any event fairy wrasses are always best enjoyed in trios or harems
