I am looking for a 55 gal tank stand cheap or even free for a project sump.

I don't know how much the stand would be by itself, or if it's more than you'd want to spend, but they have sales for a tank + metal stand for $100 at petland discounts, and some other stores i've heard, so maybe you could go see how much the stand by itself would be.
