Looking for a BTA

Anybody have a cheap one they would like to let go? My 4 inch clown is beating the hell out of anything soft or furry. Well at least the xenia will make it.

Aquatic Visions in New Port Richey has dozens of them and they are between $5-$12. I had to get 2 of them because my clown killed one when I only had 1. Now he shares his attention between 2 and everyone is happy :).

they have bubble tips for $12? thats almost unheard of. not saying they don't it's just so surprising. you wouldn't happen to have a pic would you? also have they cleaned the tanks up any? last time I was there it was the most God aweful store I had ever been too as far as animal health and over all store appearance. it's a long drive for me that I might be willing to make if they had changed a little at least.

I wouldn't buy fish from there...everything else is fine imo. However...I'm a noob. I'll post up pics when I get home. They also have THE most amazing live rock I've ever seen. I don't know if they were giving me a deal, but they sell to me and my students BTA's for $5. They are a warehouse that sell all over the country, and they aren't really a normal type of store. They don't even advertise locally.

They get their new shipments in on Thurs and Fri...I'll tell you what I see and I'll ask about prices to make sure they aren't giving me them at those prices because I'm a teacher (not that I mind that :) ).

Yes, they have a dirty store but I have been very pleased with the product.

I think you're taking about the Atlantic Anemone, usually they sell those around that price.IMO

they are still not much to look at, and def. on the dirty side, but i have never had a problem with anything from there. they did put in a new "main" display and its huge and have some nice corals ect...

they are very good to help and price is always lower on everything.

Yeah it's definately an Atlantic/Carribean anemone. If he is looking for cheap like he said and wants to make his clown happy...this is it!

Here's the pic of the anemone. Of course the cow fish I caught is in the picture. He's in EVERY picture I take unless I trick him to the other side...he has some infatuation with the camera. Sheece! SOOOO conceited!

for what they are price wise I can't see a better deal anywhere. it makes a beautiful specimen in pictures. maroons are mean to anemones it seems simply brutal. nice pic

Wow! You have a Maroon hosting a Condy, that's neat.I always thought that no clown would host on a Condy.Congrat! and BTW Nice pic.Watch the cow,she might eat all your corals.
:D

.....yeah....I only have a couple corals and I don't even know what they're called (again....I'm a noob :) ). The cow does pick at the live rock I have because there are 8 trillion (yeah maybe) little teeny tube worms on them. But she's SOOO cute with such a personality :) Just hope she doesn't decide to poison my tank one day.

Aquatic Visions has several different types of anemones there. They get in some shipments today and I'll ask him what they are all called. Pretty sure they are all Carribean but there are a variety of colors.
