Looking for a different feeding regime

I am kind of getting concerned with my feeding regime. Right now I feed about a cubes worth of PE Mysis and a cubes worth of Rods Food a day, both soaked in selcon/vitachem. I also feed 2 other times during the day very small amounts of NLS Thera A Pellets mixed with Formula 2 pellets.

I'm not concerned with exporting the nutrients, I am concerned with the feeding of PE Mysis everyday. I know its high in protein but I am also reading its very fatty and should be fed sparingly. The last thing I want is a bunch of fat lazy fish that just lay on the rocks all day :debi:

So what are your thoughts? Should I only feed PE Mysis a couple times a week? If so what should I put in its place daily? I was thinking another portion of Rods but that can get expensive quick. I will be adding cyclopeeze to the mix once my ignitus anthias get out of QT.

Geez your fish must be starving.

I feed about 6 cubes a day worth of PE mysis to a 120g tank. But it's seahorses, so . . . bit different.

My reef gets about 2 cubes a day worth, a cube of another frozen meaty food, nori, and I have about 95g of refugium that breeds pods. I also feed phyto and reef roids on alternating days. 4 tablespoons of phyto and 1 tablespoon of reef roids on there day. I feed a pinch of pellets once a day too. My tank is a 125g.

My LPS grows well, and with the refugium, my nutrients stay low, and I have no algae issues.

Thanks. I have a fuge as well that I feed phyto feast into.

Does anyone have any info on feeding PE Mysis daily and its fat content? OK for feeding fish daily or no?

I don't see any problem with feeding one cube of mysis daily to a tank with 20 fish. I feed a cube of mysis most daysi in the evening to 10 fish (plus chopped seafood in the mornings).
